Sydney Smith
Sydney Smith is a dedicated and experienced horse trainer specializing in dressage and jumpers. With over a decade of professional experience, she has built a reputation for developing young horses, matching horses with riders, and guiding riders to success.
Her journey began at the age of 4 when she first started riding. She trained all through grade school, high school, and college. At 17 she started working with young horses, refining her skills in training and development. At 19, she took the next step in her career by joining Echelon Sport Horses under the mentorship of Genevieve Edwards, where she trained professionally and ran the Junior Academy for three years.
After graduating from college, Sydney expanded her expertise at Trot Time Farms, where she focused on training and coaching. It was during this time that she launched Elite Equestrians, a program dedicated to producing top-quality sale horses, helping riders find their dream horse, and providing comprehensive training for horse and rider in order to achieve their goals.
Now at the helm of Elite Equestrians, Sydney is committed to cultivating talented horses for the market while running a structured and successful lesson program. Her training philosophy emphasizes patience, precision, and a strong foundation, ensuring both horses and riders reach their full potential.
